For our team, we are looking, immediately or by arrangement, for a technically skilled and committed individual who efficiently manages procurement, supplier management and cost optimisation.
Your future place of work is the new maintenance centre in Landquart. Until the new building is commissioned, training will mainly take place at our location in Effretikon, where you will get to know our processes, systems and components comprehensively.
Procurement Specialist 80-100% (m/f/d)
Your Job
- Operational and strategic procurement of various components and services for our maintenance of track construction machines and locomotives, as well as refit
- Handling the entire procurement process from inquiry to invoice approval Monitoring stock levels, delivery times and delivery dates as well as key figures Negotiating contracts with suppliers
- Maintaining master data, articles and inventory using the ERP system (ABACUS)
- Close cooperation with our maintenance, warehouse logistics, production, as well as development/engineering
Your Profile
- Have a completed technical education with further training in business administration, supply chain or a comparable field
- Bring several years of experience in technical purchasing, including negotiation skills and international supplier management and ideally customs and import knowledge
- Team-oriented personality with an independent, structured and precise way of working
- IT-savvy with solid ERP and MS Office user skills
- Communicate confidently in German and English, additional languages (e.g. French, Italian) are an advantage
