For the management of our small-scale production, we are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded, technically skilled individual who steers processes with foresight, leads a small team with clarity, and enjoys taking responsibility and further developing a growing production area.

Who we are

Opari is a Swiss e-commerce company behind well-known brands such as geschenkidee.ch and geschenkparadies.ch. We develop and market gift ideas and personalised products, combining e-commerce, logistics, and in-house production under one roof.

Our small-scale production is part of logistics. Personalised products are created directly on site – efficiently, reliably, and with high quality standards. Modern production processes, technology, and craftsmanship come together here.

As Team Leader Small-Scale Production, you take responsibility for this area and develop it further together with your team. You work closely with logistics management as well as IT, purchasing, B2B, and customer service.

Your tasks

• Together with your team of two permanent employees, you take responsibility for the smooth production processes of our personalised products.
• In collaboration with IT, you ensure the maintenance and further development of our machinery. You ensure high equipment availability and production capacity and continuously optimise production costs.
• Together with logistics management, you ensure the reliable adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with our customers.
• Alongside purchasing and IT, you drive the further development of our production: you introduce new production methods and expand our range on existing production equipment.
• In cooperation with the B2B team, you plan and control large-volume production orders and ensure their timely implementation.
• For quality concerns from end customers, you are the central contact person for our customer service. You analyse causes, initiate improvement measures, and continuously develop production processes to sustainably reduce complaints.

Your profile

• You have completed vocational training, ideally in a craft or technical profession. The exact field is secondary to us.
• You have a pronounced understanding of processes: you think in workflows, recognise optimisation potential, and pragmatically implement improvements.
• You bring technical understanding that goes beyond mere computer operation and have genuine interest in machines, production processes, and craft topics.
• Experience in team or personnel management is an advantage but not a must. If you have the potential and motivation for a leadership role, we will prepare you specifically for it.
• You communicate clearly and enjoy working with different departments such as logistics, purchasing, IT, B2B, and customer service.
• You work independently, in a structured and responsible manner, and bring a pronounced hands-on mentality.
• You have very good German language skills.
• You are confident in using MS Office.

What to expect from us

You will take over a manageable production area with plenty of scope for design and short decision-making paths. The role combines leadership, technology, process optimisation, and operational responsibility – and offers you the opportunity to actively shape a growing area.

You do not have to come from classic production. What matters is that you enjoy understanding how things work, take pleasure in improving processes, take responsibility, and work together with your team.
