Then you are exactly right with us. Due to the retirement of the current post holder at the end of June 2027, we are looking for a committed individual to further develop our Social Department professionally, strategically, and personally.
Your tasks
- You lead the Social Department and ensure an impact-oriented and well-organised operation.
- You lead and develop your team and are responsible for personnel planning and development.
- You ensure the professionally correct and legally compliant implementation in the areas of social counselling, economic social assistance, school social work, youth work, elderly care, health, and supplementary family care.
- You coordinate concerns from authorities, clients, and internal administrative offices.
- You are responsible for quality assurance as well as the professional and legal quality of applications, reports, and submissions.
- You participate in budgeting, investment planning, and accounting.
- You advise internal and external bodies on professional, legal, and administrative matters.
- Together with the responsible offices, you ensure good communication internally and externally.
- You represent the department in various regional and cantonal professional and leadership committees.
Your profile
- Completed university of applied sciences degree in social work or a comparable qualification.
- Extensive expertise in the social sector.
- Leadership experience in a comparable position.
- High social competence and enjoyment in working with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical and strategic thinking as well as a solution-oriented working style.
- Good IT user skills.
- You communicate clearly, are decisive, and maintain an overview even in demanding situations.
