Product Owner 80-100% (m/f/d) – SAFe / Contract Management / Insurance / Agile Delivery / Jira
To strengthen an agile team, we are looking for an experienced Product Owner (m/f/d) for a demanding project in the insurance environment. The role is located in the area of contract management and focuses on topics such as contract adjustments, status changes, and linking customer data to contracts. The team works within the framework of modernising non-life systems and products.
Responsibilities:
* Responsibility for the product backlog including prioritisation according to business value
* Preparation, maintenance and refinement of features and user stories
* Management of around 20 features with dependencies on other teams
* Close collaboration with the development team, product management, specialist departments and stakeholders
* Participation in Scrum ceremonies such as daily, refinement, planning, review and retro
* Making technical decisions during implementation in coordination with the team
* Technical acceptance of implemented features
* Identifying and coordinating dependencies as well as prioritising improvements and incidents
Experience:
* At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner in the IT environment
* Experience in agile software development projects, ideally SAFe
* Very good skills in slicing and prioritising features and user stories
* Experience in working with business and IT teams
* Technical affinity as well as understanding of microservices and API-based systems
* Experience with Jira or comparable tools
* Insurance experience is an advantage but not essential
* Product Owner certification is an advantage, secondary with solid experience
* Structured, independent and communicative personality
* Fluent German skills, English is an advantage
