About the job
The Wallisellen school employs around 330 staff with educational and administrative tasks in five schools and six different services.At the Bürgli secondary school, nearly 400 young people are taught by a committed, well-mixed team. Our secondary level works with the three-part school model, whereby the Sek B/C is run jointly. Since 2012, we have been a QUIMS school.
To complement our team, we are looking for a specialist for
School Social Work
70% workload (higher workload during school weeks, mostly free for 13 weeks of school holidays)
Your main tasks
▪ Low-threshold counseling service for students at the interface between school, family, and leisure
▪ Counseling and support for teachers and parents
▪ Individual case assistance, group and class interventions
▪ Prevention
You bring
▪ Completed training in social work/social pedagogy at the level of higher vocational school or university of applied sciences
▪ Professional experience working with young people, ideally in school social work
▪ Independence, reliability, communication skills, resilience, and humor
