Security Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
This role combines engineering, cyber security and modern network architectures. The focus is on implementing demanding ICT projects, further developing secure infrastructures, and providing technical support to teams and customers.
Responsibilities:
Implementation of ICT projects and changes from conception to operational handover
Planning, implementation and documentation of security and network architectures
Further development of standards, best practices as well as the cyber security and network roadmap
Expansion of managed security services, assessments and awareness offerings
Conducting technical reviews and risk analyses as well as supporting complex escalations
Technical support for internal teams as well as sales and presales
Promoting knowledge transfer within the team and towards apprentices
Qualifications:
Completed ICT training, further education at HF level or comparable qualification advantageous
Several years of engineering experience in networking and cyber security
Sound knowledge of firewall, switching, WLAN, VPN and network segmentation
Experience with modern architectures such as Zero Trust and SASE
Knowledge of Versa Networks advantageous
Experience with customer projects, technical documentation and standards
Independent, structured and customer-oriented working style
Very good German skills as well as good technical English
