Service Staff / Wine Enthusiast Bar à vin Bern 100% (m/f/d)

Bern | from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement

Wine, cuisine and hospitality – with us, everything belongs together.

From October 2026, we are expanding our Bar à vin in Bern with an additional floor with around 30 seats. For this, we are looking for a committed and guest-oriented personality as Service Staff / Wine Enthusiast 100%.

You enjoy personal service, are interested in wine and high-quality products, and want to offer our guests enjoyable and uncomplicated experiences? Then we look forward to getting to know you.

Your tasks

You advise and look after our guests during lunch and evening service and ensure a special guest experience with your attentive and personal manner.

Your tasks include:

• Advising our guests on wine, drinks and food
• Independently managing your own service station
• Careful preparation and follow-up of the mise en place
• Collecting payments and correct daily accounting
• Support at tastings, banquets and events
• Assisting with smaller caterings for private and corporate clients
• Adhering to our hygiene and quality standards
• Close cooperation with wine trade, service and kitchen

Depending on experience and interest, you can take on additional responsibility and actively contribute to the further development of our Bar à vin.

What you bring

• Training as a restaurant specialist or good professional experience in a comparable establishment
• Enjoyment of refined, personal and attentive service
• Interest in wine, cuisine and high-quality products
• Independent, reliable and structured way of working
• Resilience and overview even during high guest volumes
• Very good German language skills
• French and English skills are an advantage
• Further training in the wine sector is an advantage but not a requirement

What is most important to us is your enthusiasm for hospitality, wine and personal contact with our guests. If you do not yet have extensive wine knowledge but are interested and eager to learn, we will support you.
