Your area of responsibility

In this role, you report directly to the Director Business Unit Industry and take on the following main tasks:

• Support of selected end customers in technical, consultancy-intensive projects in direct sales
• Support of existing distributors in the EU region, AMER, and India
• Responsibility for budget, sales development, and contribution margin of assigned customers, markets, and distributors
• Development and maintenance of new customers and sales partners
• Implementation of the marketing strategy in the assigned markets
• Development and continuous improvement of market information
• Support in the overarching sales strategy of the Industry division
• Conducting training for sales partners, key accounts, and end customers
• Participation in expert committees, including giving presentations (at associations and in working groups)
• First point of contact for all application-technical and commercial enquiries from assigned markets and customers

Your profile

• Chemical or technical basic training
• Experience in selling industrial consumables or capital goods
• Communicative, open personality
• Analytical, result- and goal-oriented as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• Independent and proactive working style with pronounced assertiveness
• Willingness to travel between 50-70%
• Fluent German and English skills
