Educational Staff Member HPS (33%)
At the Municipal Special Education School, Michaelschule, around 120 children and adolescents with developmental delays, cognitive impairments, or autism spectrum disorders are supported and cared for with special education.To strengthen our team in the lower school, we are looking for an educational staff member starting January 15, 2026. Your work assignments will be during school hours as well as during one school holiday week. You will be responsible for:
Your Tasks
- Supporting the teacher during classroom work
- Accompanying and caring for children during non-teaching times and holidays as part of day care
- Promoting and supporting children in practical life areas
- Cooperating with responsible teachers and parents
- Participating in working groups and school events, attending meetings and further training
Your Profile
- Completion of vocational training as a childcare specialist (FaBe), or equivalent experience/training background in a comparable work area
- Competence and experience in the area of ASD
- Enjoyment in dealing with behavioral difficulties and disability-specific support and care needs
- Flexible and resilient
- Empathy
