You will help shape a greenfield product from the start, influence the architecture, make important technology decisions and actively bring modern AI topics into engineering
Job Description- Technical leadership and further development of a software engineering team
- Responsibility for software architecture, technology stack and technical standards
- Hands-on software development with Java, Spring Boot and React
- Development and operation of a modern, cloud-native platform on Azure with Docker and Kubernetes
- Definition and co-design of the technical roadmap together with Product and Business
- Ensuring Engineering Excellence in the areas of code quality, CI/CD, DevOps, security and performance
- Coaching and mentoring engineers as well as promoting a modern engineering culture
- Evaluation and introduction of new technologies and development approaches, especially AI-assisted development and agentic AI
- Several years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Lead Engineer, Engineering Lead or Technical Lead
- Experience in the technical leadership and further development of software engineers
- Very good knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, ideally complemented by React
- Experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
- Sound understanding of software architecture and modern engineering principles
- Ability to combine strategic technical decisions with operational hands-on development
- Enthusiasm for modern software development, AI and new technologies
- Willingness to familiarise yourself with the finance and pension environment
- Very good German skills as well as English or French from B1 level
