About the job

What to expect:

• Responsibility for the strategic and conceptual further development of ÖKK's cloud and SaaS architecture
• Development and enforcement of architectural principles, standards and best practices for cloud and SaaS platforms
• Consulting and support for projects during cloud transformations and the introduction of new technologies
• Architecture reviews as well as approval of solution designs from an IT architecture perspective
• Responsibility for the integration of cloud and SaaS solutions into the existing application, data and security architecture
• Ensuring compliance with security, compliance and governance requirements in the cloud
• Evaluation of new cloud technologies and preparation of decision-making bases for the further development of the IT landscape
• Close collaboration with data and integration architects, IT security, project management, business units and external providers

• Higher education in computer science (FH/HF/Uni) or equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience as a cloud architect, infrastructure architect or solution architect
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Azure as well as modern cloud architectures, especially cloud-native, Kubernetes and microservices
• Very good understanding of cloud security, identity & access management, networking, platform services and hybrid architectures
• Experience in designing architectural specifications for the provision of cloud platforms using infrastructure-as-code and automation with Terraform
• Understanding of enterprise architecture
• Personality with decisiveness, implementation focus and sense of responsibility
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical contexts between business, IT and external partners
