Your Tasks
- Responsibility for the Spatial Design study program and its strategic-content development as well as active networking with private and public institutions in the fields of Workplace Design, Urban Design, Exhibition and Experience Design, and other related areas
- Personnel management and administrative leadership
- Responsibility for the finances of the study program
- Student recruitment in collaboration with the Marketing & Communication department
- Supervision of student project and bachelor theses
- Collaboration with study programs and courses in the field of design
- Networking of research activities with education
- Participation in the further development of the department
Your Profile
- Profound knowledge and experience in the addressed professional and knowledge fields
- Practical proof of achievement in the field of spatial design (e.g., Spatial Design, Urban Design, Experience Design)
- Very good networking with the scenes relevant to Spatial Design, especially at the national level
- University degree at the master’s level in the subject area; doctorate is an advantage
- Leadership experience
- Experience with process design and administration in the complex field of a university organization is desired
- Experience in curriculum development
- Interest in inter- and transdisciplinary collaboration with other study programs
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Cooperative and empathetic personality
- Qualification in university didactics is an advantage or to be obtained within two years
- You are sensitive to issues of diversity, equality, and inclusion
