About the job
The Evangelical Reformed Parish of Wädenswil has around 6000 members.
Due to retirement, a position in the sexton team will be newly filled from May 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Your Profile
You have completed a craft or technical training, are skilled and experienced. You appreciate the variety of tasks, enjoy working independently and in a team, are sociable and empathetic. You are proficient in handling electronic devices, technical equipment, and office applications. You live in Wädenswil or the surrounding area, are flexible and resilient. You enjoy working for an organization committed to people and society.
Your Main Tasks
- Preparation and follow-up of our rooms for events in the parish house.
- Preparation and support of church events, such as services, funerals, and concerts.
- Cleaning and surrounding area work.
- With very good performance, there is the chance to take over responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the church and parish house, including technical systems, in one year after the retirement of our head sexton.
Working Days
Usually Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, as well as one to two weekends per month.
