The Hôtel de la Cigogne 5* has 49 rooms, junior suites and suites, each decorated in a different style. This charming house features a traditional restaurant, a bar, and a magnificent lounge for meetings, cocktails, lunches and dinners accommodating up to 40 people.
Job Description
As part of their hotel training, the Housekeeping intern will be present for a period of 6 months starting from August 2026, working alongside an experienced housekeeper.
During the internship, the tasks will be as follows:
- Train in the role of Chambermaid/Porter and learn cleaning procedures;
- Understand laundry management, participate in cleaning and distribution of
- uniforms and guest linen;
- Ensure the quality of floral arrangements in common areas;
- Identify, report and monitor various maintenance tasks in connection with the technical service;
- Participate in quality control, maintenance and stock management of equipment and
- supplies;
- Train in the role of Housekeeper and ensure personalised welcome and service quality
- for hotel guests throughout their stay;
- Daily control and supervision of team work for arrivals, turndown service and bed making, ensuring compliance with current standards;
- Manage lost property according to procedure;
- Participate in administrative tasks (preparing openings according to occupancy,
- creating schedules, checking invoices, etc.).
Only internship applications from schools referenced by the Swiss hotel and restaurant collective labour agreement are accepted.
