Network & Infrastructure Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is a thriving, internationally active company with around 330 employees, producing high-quality products and services for the construction of electric motors and transformers. Approximately 80 percent of these are exported. Stator and rotor sheets are stamped from electrical steel and assembled into ready-to-install stator and rotor packages using the processes of stamping, welding, baking, riveting, and clamping. In further steps, the rotors are cast in aluminium and the rotor shaft is pressed in.
Responsibilities:
You design, operate, and optimise our network and server landscape with modern enterprise technologies.
You further develop WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLAN, VPN, and firewall architectures and ensure high-performance connections.
You manage the virtualised VMware platform and continuously develop the underlying server infrastructure.
You implement technical protective measures and contribute to the establishment and further development of the information security management system.
You evaluate new security and infrastructure technologies, improve existing solutions, and actively participate in engineering projects.
Qualifications:
You have training as an IT specialist EFZ in system technology/platform development or a higher qualification at HF/FH level.
You possess solid knowledge in Cisco, Aruba, firewalling, routing, and VLAN and wish to deepen your expertise in network engineering.
You are familiar with Microsoft Server, especially Windows, Exchange, SQL, and ADFS; Linux experience is welcome.
You are interested in cybersecurity and ideally have experience with vulnerability management, endpoint protection, or OT security.
You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, take responsibility, and are prepared to undertake on-call and planned duties.
