Safety & Quality Manager

Your mission:

As Safety & Quality Manager, you are responsible for process compliance, adherence to quality requirements, and the site’s health, safety and environmental policy.

You manage the laboratory as well as lead a team. A true driver of continuous improvement, you ensure the performance of the quality management system and support the organisation in maintaining regulatory and operational standards.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the quality management system and ensure its continuous improvement.
• Guarantee process compliance with regulatory, normative and internal requirements.
• Prepare, coordinate and support internal, client and authority audits.
• Monitor action plans resulting from audits and inspections.
• Supervise all laboratory activities and ensure the reliability of analyses.
• Manage, support and develop a team.
• Implement and monitor quality and safety indicators.
• Lead investigations, deviations, complaints, CAPA and risk analyses.
• Define and deploy necessary actions to strengthen the quality and safety culture.
• Maintain relations with external organisations, partners and competent authorities when necessary.
• Actively participate in process, quality and safety improvement projects.
• Raise awareness and train teams on good quality, safety and regulatory practices.

Your profile:

• Higher scientific education (chemistry, biology, pharmacy, engineering or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a Quality and/or Safety role within a cosmetic, pharmaceutical or life sciences environment.
• Experience in team management.
• Good knowledge of quality management systems and associated regulatory requirements.
• Experience in audit preparation and management.
• Strong skills in laboratory management and continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in French and good knowledge of professional English.
