Operational Buyer Financial Market Data/ Vendor Management/ InfoMatch /100% / ZH

Project: For the Financial Market Data Purchasing team, we are looking for an experienced individual for the operational procurement and management of financial market data. You will support the team in daily business concerning contracts, orders, invoices, licences, and user access, working closely with internal departments, exchanges, and international data providers.

Responsibilities

• Operational handling of contracts, orders, and cancellations with data providers and exchanges
• Continuous cost and invoice verification of financial market data
• Reconciliation of invoices with internal systems and resolution of discrepancies with the respective vendors
• Needs analysis and advising internal users on the selection of suitable data products such as terminals, feeds, and APIs
• Evaluation of data products considering costs, benefits, and licence conditions
• Maintenance and management of relationships with data providers and exchanges
• Preparation and support for contract and price negotiations
• Monitoring compliance with complex licence and usage terms
• Preparation and accompaniment of audits by exchanges and data providers
• Maintenance and updating of the internal financial market data inventory
• Management of user rights and access
• Management of the inventory and relevant data in the InfoMatch system

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of solid experience in purchasing and managing financial market data, ideally at a bank, financial institution, or data provider
• Deep understanding of the financial market data landscape (including Bloomberg, LSEG/Refinitiv, FactSet, SIX Financial, Morningstar) as well as pricing models, licence rights, and usage conditions
• Mandatory system knowledge of InfoMatch
• Very good to advanced Excel skills for data, cost, and invoice analyses
• Completed studies in economics, business informatics, or comparable commercial training with relevant professional experience
• Strong numerical understanding, analytical and structured working style
• Confident and professional manner in dealing with internal stakeholders and external vendors
