Head of IT & Digital Services
Responsibilities
- You design, develop and implement technical solutions in the areas of business applications, CRM, automation, data and digital platforms.
- You support the management in the conception of the AI strategy.
- You take on demanding IT and digitalisation projects from requirements analysis through technical implementation to introduction and documentation.
- You further develop existing systems, interfaces, web applications as well as reporting and data solutions and ensure their reliable operation.
- You analyse complex technical issues, develop practical solutions and support the team in their implementation.
- You accompany the IT staff as a professional coach, promote knowledge exchange and support them in technical decisions and challenges.
- You evaluate new technologies and develop standards for architecture, development, quality and documentation together with the team.
- You take on the personnel and organisational leadership of the IT team and ensure good coordination with the programme areas, management as well as internal and external partners.
Profile
- University Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable field
- Several years of practical experience in the design, development and implementation of demanding IT solutions
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Azure
- Good programming skills, ideally in JavaScript and at least one other programming language
- Good knowledge in the use of AI and the ability to specifically use AI applications to optimise processes
- Experience with CRM and business systems, process automation, system integrations and interfaces
- Knowledge of web technologies, web applications as well as operation and further development of digital platforms
- Experience with data preparation, reporting, web analytics and data-based solutions
- Ability to independently lead technical projects and accompany solutions from conception to productive introduction
- Enjoyment in coaching employees professionally, passing on knowledge and jointly developing sustainable technical solutions
- Cooperative role understanding: you provide professional guidance but also actively participate in projects and technical solutions
- Initial experience in team leadership or willingness to take on personnel responsibility in addition to the technical role
- Very good German and English skills
