Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced individual as a project-leading architect for the comprehensive handling of demanding building construction projects in the Bern region. You will accompany construction projects from project development and approval planning through tendering and execution to handover and take on comprehensive project responsibility. The focus is on architectural planning, client consulting, specialist planner coordination and site management as well as controlling costs, schedules and quality. The position combines creative and planning tasks with operational responsibility for the successful realisation of the projects.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and handling of architectural projects across the relevant SIA service phases
Development and coordination of project, approval, execution and detailed planning
Preparation and processing of building applications and construction law documents as well as support during approval procedures
Planning and handling of projects with ArchiCAD and/or Vectorworks
Coordination of authorities, specialist planners, experts, contractors and other project participants
Conducting tenders, offer comparisons and awards as well as involvement in contracts for work
Assuming site management and coordination of executing companies during realisation
Responsibility for cost, schedule and quality control throughout the entire project duration
Review and coordination of execution, workshop and specialist planner documents
Consulting and support of the client in planning, technical and economic project decisions
Conducting construction, project and coordination meetings as well as follow-up on agreed measures
Support during acceptances, defect rectification and project completion up to handover to the client
Qualifications:
Completed architecture degree FH, ETH or university or comparable higher education qualification
Several years of professional experience in Switzerland with experience in independent project management
Sound knowledge of Swiss construction and planning processes as well as relevant SIA standards, ideally experience in the canton of Bern
Experience in project planning, execution planning, tendering, awarding and site management
Confident handling of ArchiCAD and/or Vectorworks
Experience in cost, schedule and quality management as well as specialist planner coordination
Very good German language skills spoken and written
