Professional Guardian / Adult Protection Guardian (80%)
On behalf of the KESB, you will support, care for, and represent people as a professional guardian in managing their legal, financial, social, and personal matters. You analyse issues, structure information, and obtain the necessary documents. You develop solutions and implementation plans in collaboration with the affected persons and actively accompany them.
Your future main tasks
- Conducting targeted and tailored measures in adult protection
- Advising and supporting clients on social, health, legal, and financial matters
- Income and asset management
- Intervention in conflict and crisis situations
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with third parties, namely professionals, institutions, and authorities
- Preparing accountability reports and statements on applications for the Child and Adult Protection Authority
What you ideally bring
- Several years of experience in a socially committed environment
- Completed basic tertiary education (e.g. social work, psychology, education, law) is an advantage
- Ideally legal or business administration knowledge
- Experience with social insurance and numbers – or willingness to further educate yourself in this area
- A sensitivity for people in challenging situations
- Clear communication and the ability to explain complex matters understandably
- Independent and solution-oriented working – even when things get hectic
