Project Manager Surface Waters and Water Uses (80%)
Your tasks
- Monitoring of water quality with a focus on nutrients, pesticides, wastewater tracers, PFAS and macrozoobenthos
- Further development of flow measurements
- Assessment and approval of applications for the use of surface waters including agricultural irrigation, heat/cold utilisation and residual water
- Professional support for current challenges such as the digitalisation of water monitoring, climate change and extreme events such as drought
- Participation in the damage service
- Cooperation with specialist offices in the fields of fisheries, hydraulic engineering, revitalisations, nature conservation, contaminated sites, wastewater and agriculture.
Your profile
- Scientific university degree with knowledge of aquatic systems
- Professional experience in water protection
- Enjoyment of a broad range of topics from data management (e.g. RStudio, GIS) to technical and legal issues
- Quick comprehension, networked thinking, strong communication skills in German
- Enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary team
