Your tasks

• Monitoring of water quality with a focus on nutrients, pesticides, wastewater tracers, PFAS and macrozoobenthos
• Further development of flow measurements
• Assessment and approval of applications for the use of surface waters including agricultural irrigation, heat/cold utilisation and residual water
• Professional support for current challenges such as the digitalisation of water monitoring, climate change and extreme events such as drought
• Participation in the damage service
• Cooperation with specialist offices in the fields of fisheries, hydraulic engineering, revitalisations, nature conservation, contaminated sites, wastewater and agriculture.

Your profile

• Scientific university degree with knowledge of aquatic systems
• Professional experience in water protection
• Enjoyment of a broad range of topics from data management (e.g. RStudio, GIS) to technical and legal issues
• Quick comprehension, networked thinking, strong communication skills in German
• Enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary team
