Consulting and support for municipalities and energy supply companies (EVU)

Municipalities and energy supply companies face a variety of challenges in energy supply. IB Langenthal AG supports them as a competent partner – from strategic questions to operational implementation. Together, we contribute to ensuring that the population is supplied with energy reliably, economically and sustainably.

As a Customer Advisor Energy Industry, you will initially take responsibility for two strategically relevant, long-term customer mandates. You act as the central hub: you are the main contact person for your customers, coordinate their concerns in day-to-day operations just as reliably as you develop suitable solutions for highly complex issues together with our specialists.

Tasks and responsibilities

You bring with you

• Completed commercial or technical training, ideally supplemented by business management further education
• Experience in the energy industry is an advantage
• Strong hands-on mentality: you move confidently on the strategic stage but are not averse to administrative routine tasks and operational implementation in daily business.
• IT affinity and a solid understanding of process-oriented and administrative workflows
• Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking
• Strong service mentality and negotiation skills
• Resilience and flexibility
• Very good communication skills in German
• Driving licence required

You are enthusiastic about

• The enormous variety in your daily work: from straightforward coordination of simple customer enquiries and administrative diligence to leading complex energy industry projects
• Solution-oriented consulting and support of municipalities and energy supply companies in energy industry issues
• Independent management and proactive development of long-term customer mandates
• Appropriate and professional handling of various political and strategic committees (e.g. board of directors, municipal council, commissions)
• Targeted coordination of projects and cooperative collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Efficient organisation and leadership of meetings as well as reliable, independent processing of resulting tasks
• Thorough preparation of reports, decision-making bases as well as budgets and financial planning for your mandates
• Transparent reporting to internal and external stakeholders and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
