Our client is a recognised player in the F&B world.To support its development, it is looking for a Marketing Manager to assist its various restaurants in French-speaking Switzerland.
Marketing Manager - Switzerland - Food & Beverage
Reporting directly to the General Manager, your role will focus on several areas.
A true Business Partner, you will be responsible for supporting the needs of the different establishments in their development and enhancement.
Your duties will therefore include:
Strategy and Management
Define and deploy the marketing strategy of the group and each establishment.
Build the annual marketing plan, budget and campaign calendar.
Analyse the market, consumption trends, competition and local expectations.
Define positioning, offers and messages by concept, region and clientele.
Monitor performance indicators: turnover, attendance, average basket, bookings, loyalty and return on investment.
Present results and recommendations to management.
Write or validate content: menus, posters, newsletters, website, social media, press releases and in-restaurant materials.
Manage press relations, influencers, local partners and external agencies.
Organise photo and video shoots of establishments, dishes and events.
Supervise online reviews and the digital reputation of the restaurants.
- Optimise local SEO, booking journeys and e-mail/SMS campaigns.
Utilise customer data in compliance with Swiss data protection legislation.
Loyalty and Customer Experience
Design and manage a loyalty programme.
Implement reactivation and customer retention actions.
Develop targeted offers: afterworks, seasonal menus, brunches, events, corporate offers and gift cards.
Collect customer feedback and turn it into improvement actions.
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure a consistent experience between the marketing promise and service in the dining room.
Commercial Animation
Launch offers and events that generate traffic.
Support openings, renovations and repositioning of establishments.
Create partnerships with companies, hotels, institutions, festivals and tourism actors in French-speaking Switzerland.
Develop B2B activity: private hires, seminars, catering and events.
Coordinate key commercial moments: year-end celebrations, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, summer season, grape harvest, etc.
Management and Coordination
Supervise internal marketing teams and external service providers.
Establish briefings, monitor production and control the quality of deliverables.
Train establishment managers and field teams on campaigns and marketing tools.
Work closely with operations, finance, human resources, chefs and managers.
Ensure compliance with Swiss rules applicable to advertising, alcohol, promotions and data protection.
Your Profile
You have solid experience in operational marketing in the restaurant industry and/or a strong passion for this sector.
You are dynamic and rigorous by nature.
You enjoy the "field" and are capable of both developing and leading a strategy.
