Senior Cloud Consultant Microsoft 365 & Azure (m/f/d) — 80–100 %, Remote (German-speaking Switzerland)

Your Role

As a Senior Cloud Consultant in our Professional Services team, you take responsibility for the secure operation and further development of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments across multiple customer tenants. You are the technical contact for our customers, lead migration and modernisation projects, and ensure availability, performance, and security — with a great deal of personal responsibility in a remote-first environment.

Your Tasks

• Operation, configuration, and in-depth troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 core technologies (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) as well as Azure IaaS environments across multiple customer tenants
• Further development of the Microsoft Defender Suite and the security & compliance environments of our customers; analysis of security incidents including threat mitigation and reporting
• Planning and execution of migration projects (On-Premises → Cloud and Cloud → Cloud)
• Identity management with Entra ID, Conditional Access, and device management with Microsoft Intune
• Design and implementation of backup and disaster recovery strategies for Azure and Microsoft 365 (e.g. Azure Backup, Veeam)
• Administration of Windows Server, Active Directory, and customer network infrastructures; troubleshooting Windows 10/11
• Automation of recurring tasks with PowerShell

Your Profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in the administration of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including several years in customer-facing managed services or IT consulting with proven project experience
• Solid practical experience with Entra ID, Conditional Access, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and network infrastructure (3–5 years)
• Azure Administrator certification (AZ-104) or equivalent
• Experience with security tools and frameworks (e.g. Microsoft Defender for Endpoint/Office 365, ISO 27001 / NIST)
• Residence in German-speaking Switzerland
• Fluent German (C1/C2) and good English (B2)
• Independent, structured working style, analytical strength, and enjoyment of direct customer contact
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Switzerland and Germany

A plus, not a must: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert · advanced PowerShell automation · French language skills · degree in computer science/business informatics or comparable qualification
