Inspired by the rooftop bars in Bangkok, the Mangomoon Sky Bar shines and sparkles in opulent design and offers a view over the enchanting lights of Lake Zurich. Our guests enjoy insider creations of Thai drinks with ginger, mint, butterfly pea flower and essences of lemongrass or treat themselves to a Singha beer or an authentic Chalong Bay rum from Phuket. We serve snacks from the menu of the Loy Fah Contemporary Thai Restaurant. The Mangomoon Sky Bar is the perfect place to start the evening cosy or to end it spectacularly.

Our Mangomoon Sky Bar is more than a bar; it is a place for special moments of enjoyment with a spectacular view over Lake Zurich. Inspired by the rooftop bars of Bangkok, we delight our guests with creative cocktails, selected wines, exclusive spirits and genuine Thai hospitality. To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a bar staff member on a casual basis (30-40%) who creates unforgettable evenings for our guests with passion, warmth and personality.

This position is ideal for those returning to work after a family break or for students. Thanks to the evening shifts, it can be perfectly combined with daytime commitments. A thorough and comprehensive induction is a matter of course for us.

We offer you

• two fixed evening shifts per week with flexible start from 3:00 pm until no later than 11:30 pm
  (e.g. Monday and Tuesday – other days possible by arrangement)

• A responsible role as deputy for our long-standing bar manager on his days off

• Lots of independence, especially at the beginning of the week: On Monday and Tuesday our Thai restaurant Loy Fah is closed – the Mangomoon Sky Bar is operated exclusively on these days. This means you work in a quiet, stylish atmosphere and run the bar operation largely independently. In summer, in dry weather, you work on our panoramic terrace. This has been newly designed for the current season and offers a special ambience.

Your versatile tasks

• You welcome and advise our international bar guests attentively, warmly and professionally.

• You mix and serve drinks as well as mocktails and cocktails expertly and inspire our guests with suitable recommendations.

• You ensure the daily mise en place and take care of optimal service preparation.

• You post consumption in the MICROS cash register system and carefully check the daily accounts.

• You respond professionally to guest feedback and find service-oriented solutions.

And you…

• ideally bring a hospitality qualification or several years of experience in upscale gastronomy.

• are a host by passion with a pronounced quality and service awareness

• convince with a well-groomed appearance, excellent manners and a pronounced host mentality.

• communicate confidently and friendly in German; further language skills are an advantage.

• enjoy working independently, are flexible, resilient and appreciate working in a well-coordinated and experienced team.
