We are looking for a motivated all-rounder like you, who as a quality engineer takes technical responsibility for the quality of our products. Your place of work is our site in Hirschthal / Aargau – there we work on the next generation of high-voltage instrument transformers, which are used worldwide.
Your tasks
As a technical expert in the fields of electrical engineering and quality, you are the interface between product engineers and the QM department. Your responsibilities include:
- Technical preliminary clarifications, remote diagnostics, on-site investigations and initial decision-making on measures with direct customer contact in external quality cases.
- Conducting detailed technical failure analyses during recalls
- Development and enforcement of sustainable measures for error prevention
- Writing opinions, 8D reports and statements
- Creation and maintenance of quality-relevant documentation
- Creation and continuous updating of the PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) of the production lines.
- Support in the optimisation and documentation of manufacturing processes
- Support in internal and external audits
- Training and raising awareness of employees on quality-relevant topics
- Close cooperation with product engineers, quality managers, production, testing laboratory, design and industrialisation
What you bring
- Completed studies in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
- Experience in high voltage technology or strong motivation to familiarise yourself
- High quality standards and ideally further training in quality management
- Enjoyment of diverse technical challenges from various disciplines
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking ability
- Communication skills and teamwork combined with a high degree of assertiveness
- Initiative, structured way of working
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
