About the job
Available immediately or by arrangement.
Work location: Bern. Possibility also in Basel, Lucerne or partially in Zurich. Plus working from home.
Concrete construction meets timber construction. You develop the massive components for demanding timber buildings – and work together with our timber engineers on projects from the initial concept to realisation.
Your tasks
You develop solutions for demanding projects that require expertise and creativity. For our timber buildings, you plan foundations and work on massive components such as basements, stairwells or topping concrete in timber-concrete composite slabs. You accompany multi-storey building projects from planning through tendering to realisation. During execution, you support the involved companies with your expertise. Together with our experienced timber engineers, you also work on timber construction projects and further develop your know-how in timber construction.
What is important for this role
Complex tasks appeal to you – and you enjoy searching for creative solutions. You are familiar with MS Office as well as structural analysis software from Cubus or Dlubal and have already worked with tendering software. Ideally, you already have experience with ArchiCAD.
What to expect from us
Lots of personal responsibility, scope for design and development opportunities – for example in timber construction, building physics or fire protection. A closely supported onboarding: From the start, you will have a personal mentor. This way, you get to know our projects, working methods and the team step by step and always have a fixed contact person. The opportunity to actively help shape holzprojekt. A modern workplace in Bern, Basel, Lucerne or Zurich as well as the possibility for home office. Flexible working hours and the option for a longer break. Regular internal and external training. An open, respectful and direct communication and feedback culture. A family-like team – including ski weekends, shared mid-morning breaks and spontaneous after-work drinks.
