Building a stable, trusting relationship with the children and parents
Designing and accompanying the daily routine (e.g. greeting rituals, shared meals, leisure activities, social learning, experiential education, group activities, holiday activities)
Promoting social skills (e.g. conflict resolution, communication, empathy)
Guiding and moderating group games, creative offers or projects
Strengthening self-awareness and self-esteem
Collaboration with parents, caregivers and professionals
Support with family issues or parenting questions
Collaboration with therapists, doctors and teachers
Support in emotionally stressful situations
Participation in de-escalation strategies
Participation in case discussions and interdisciplinary team meetings
Documentation of educational work and developmental progress
Promotion of the children’s resources
Development and co-design of the Bündner standard in the day clinic

A degree in social pedagogy HF or as a psychiatric nursing specialist HF
Experience working with children, ideally in clinical, curative education or psychotherapeutic contexts
A positive attitude with an infectious "Can do – attitude"
Desire and energy to shape something, combined with strong decision-making skills and the sense of when team consultations are needed and when not
Lots of networked thinking and great skill in interprofessional collaboration
