In the Facility Services Department at ETH Zurich, we create the optimal conditions for teaching, research and technology transfer. We maintain the buildings and ensure the energy and media supply as well as the technical and infrastructural building management of all rooms used by ETH Zurich.

For this task, we are looking for a Project Manager IH/IS Building Services & Infrastructure to start immediately or by arrangement.

Job Description

In this versatile role, you will take on responsibility as a project manager (m/f/d) for technical and structural maintenance and repair projects. Your goal is to maintain and improve the functionality, efficiency and sustainability of the building infrastructure.

You coordinate, prioritise and consolidate project assignments and manage the portfolio of measures, taking into account the specifications and the given budget. In close exchange with internal and external stakeholders, you develop practical solutions and independently implement the projects within cost, schedule and quality requirements.

As an innovative personality, you also have the opportunity to take up new topics and implement sustainable solutions in the interdisciplinary environment of maintenance and repair.

Further exciting, varied and interesting topics await you, covering all specialist areas of building services and building infrastructure:

• HVACSE systems from energy generation to distribution
• Electrical low-voltage systems, lighting including control
• Security systems such as fire alarm and evacuation systems
• Conveying systems such as lifts
• Floors / walls as well as facades and roofs
• Initiation of projects for continuous energy optimisation and CO2 reduction in your area of responsibility together with your colleagues

Profile

• You have completed basic training in the field of building services, ideally with a focus on electrical engineering, as well as higher technical qualifications (FH/HF) in HVACSE, project management or facility management.
• Confident use of digital tools such as CAFM systems and MS Office is a matter of course for you.
• Your experience in complex TGM projects and provider management makes you a valuable asset.
• You are fluent in German, both spoken and written; good English skills are an advantage.
• Your confident manner, communication skills and ability to complete projects on time and to a high quality complete your profile.
• You are an entrepreneurial, technology-affine personality with a clear head – even in stressful situations.
