The IV Office of the Canton of Bern is undergoing change and is focusing on a modern corporate and leadership culture. What you can achieve with us
- You take independent responsibility for advising and supporting the integration of adults – from registration to the completion of the integration process.
- You carefully analyse the initial situation and involve relevant specialists and institutions in case management, ensuring the flow of information.
- You assign integration-effective measures and use your scope of action purposefully.
- You plan, coordinate and manage cooperation with external bodies such as employers, coaches, BIZ, social services, institutions or insurance companies.
- You inform, advise and support your clients individually, solution-oriented and empathetically with the aim of enabling them to gain a new professional perspective.
- You actively contribute to inter-institutional cooperation and help to develop sustainable solutions.
Which skills are important to us
- You have a tertiary qualification in social work, psychology or a related field (e.g. HR, coaching, case management).
- You bring at least 3 years of professional experience in the integration field or in advisory work, or as a career changer at least 5 years of leadership experience in related areas.
- You have a good understanding of the Swiss education system as well as entrepreneurial thinking.
- You are strong in coordination, enjoy networking and think solution-oriented.
- You present yourself empathetically, clearly and convincingly, and can advise and coach in a solution-oriented manner.
- You complete the administrative tasks related to case management efficiently and in a structured way, appreciating both independent work and team exchange.
- We are a bilingual (German-French) company, so good knowledge of the other language is an advantage.
Benefits
Working hours:
Annual working time (42 hours/week), possibility to work part-time as well as remotely, paid breaks
Holidays:
At least 25 days of holiday per year, 28 days from the age of 45 and 33 days from the age of 55. Possibility of unpaid leave
Salary:
Cantonal salary system, gender-neutral and transparent salary policy. Full salary during parental leave, military, civil protection and civil service
Social insurance:
Above-parity contribution to the Bernese pension fund, payment of half the premium for non-occupational accident, supplementary accident and daily sickness allowance insurance
Training and further education:
Financial and/or time contribution to training and further education projects
