Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Business is the Central Swiss centre of expertise in the economically and socially significant fields of business and regional economics, banking and finance, communication and marketing, as well as tourism and mobility.
The Institute for Financial Services Zug IFZ conducts education and training in the financial sector and handles research and consulting projects.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for you immediately or by arrangement as
PhD Candidate Corporate Governance 70%
Your tasks
- You will work on a dissertation (monograph or research papers) in the fields of corporate governance or board management or company law.
- You will participate in practice-oriented research and consulting projects and write reports and publications.
- Supervising student work complements your range of activities.
- You will support the design, implementation and evaluation of our continuing education programmes.
- You will have the opportunity to gain initial teaching experience.
Your profile
- You have a very good university degree (MSc/MA/MLaw) related to the subject.
- Admission to doctoral studies at a university is an advantage.
- You have an interest and ideally practical or research experience in the fields of corporate governance or board management or company law.
- Your proven specialist and methodological skills as well as very good analytical abilities will facilitate your entry.
- You communicate confidently in German and English.
