Responsibilities:
Operation and further development of network access technologies and associated backend infrastructures (wireless controllers, Cisco Catalyst Centre)
Management of network identity services with Cisco ISE
Support of the network management infrastructure based on open-source products
Implementation of network automation with open-source technologies
Standardisation and optimisation of infrastructure services
Maintenance of technical documentation
Participation in or management of complex ICT infrastructure projects
Efficient execution of 2nd-level support
Willingness to work outside regular working hours
Qualifications:
Completed IT training, ideally with higher technical education
Profound understanding of network and network security technologies as well as at least five years of experience in large enterprise networks as a network engineer
Certification at professional level from leading network equipment vendors or equivalent professional experience
Strong analytical skills, holistic thinking and pronounced solution orientation
High motivation to deepen knowledge in complex network systems and future trends in network technology
Open, learning-oriented and flexible attitude; experience in agile, self-organised working methods is an advantage
Confident organisational skills as well as independent, structured and precise working style
