Client Representative / Project Manager - Commercial and Industrial Properties 80 - 100%

Our client is an independent Swiss fund management company with a significant portfolio of commercial and industrial properties. They pursue a value-add strategy: the properties are held long-term, purposefully transformed, and further developed for new uses. The projects range from tenant fit-outs to complete renovations and transformation and development projects in the double-digit million range.

To strengthen the construction team in Zurich, we are looking for a team-oriented individual as

Client Representative / Project Manager - Commercial and Industrial Properties 80 - 100%

Your responsibilities:

• Independent management of construction projects in existing buildings in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, from tenant fit-outs and renovations to transformation and development projects
• Accompanying projects from the initial idea to handover, including assessment of potentials and development of solution proposals
• Assuming the client role: evaluation, commissioning and management of planners, general planners, main contractors and subcontractors
• Ensuring cost, schedule and quality objectives
• Preparation of decision-making bases and investment proposals in close cooperation with portfolio management and marketing
• Participation in CAPEX planning, technical due diligences and energy measures

Your profile:

• Higher education in construction, e.g. in civil engineering, building services engineering or architecture
• Several years of experience in project management of construction projects in Switzerland, e.g. in a planning or engineering office, with a general contractor/total contractor or on the client side
• Confident knowledge of SIA phases and experience with conversions and renovations
• Technical understanding, cost awareness and entrepreneurial thinking
• Independent, solution-oriented working style and enthusiasm for contributing your own ideas
• Communicative, team-oriented personality with persuasiveness
• Very good German and good English skills, French is an advantage
• Driving licence category B
