Java Developer - Spring / Angular / Test Automation

Project:
Our client is looking for an experienced Java developer who is also accustomed to taking the lead. (Reference number: 925357RF)

Tasks:
• As Lead Developer, you will shape the implementation of requirements together with the team and ensure the high quality of the software through clean code, sustainable architectural principles, and targeted test coverage
• You design and optimise the system solution for end-to-end test automation in complex software architectures
• You lead the development of critical software components, systems, and functions to improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency
• You take on the mentoring role for colleagues, pass on technical know-how, and influence the further development of the team
• You contribute proposals for technological advancement and tooling and actively decide on architecture and technology issues


Requirements:
• At least 10 years of experience in agile software development with Java and Angular
• Experience in leading and mentoring developers as well as in passing on technical know-how within teams
• Completed higher education or further training in computer science (HF, FH, University/ETH)
• Solid experience in developing test automation frameworks (e.g. Appium, Selenium, Playwright)
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture as well as test automation of web UIs, mobile apps, and APIs is an advantage
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines as well as in developing, analysing, and troubleshooting large, decentralised systems
• Very good German and good English skills
