Counter Manager

CHANEL is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Counter Manager (100%) to lead a team of 2 people at our sales point in Manor Basel.

As a true ambassador of our brand, you will play a key role in providing our customers with an exceptional experience, achieving our performance targets, and ensuring operational excellence, with a strong focus on building and developing your team.

With a combination of strong leadership skills, dynamism, and a passion for teamwork, you will work closely with our Wholesale Manager Switzerland and the business to achieve team goals.

What you bring to this role and your main responsibilities:

Constant monitoring and reporting of KPIs (performance, stock) to meet our annual targets;

Leading by example: you will apply your sales skills, put the training received into practice, and continuously expand your knowledge of beauty topics through proactive self-study.

Developing, training, and motivating the team. You will also organise schedules for optimal coverage.

A culture focused on an excellent customer experience. To this end, you will develop the advice, the services created by the house, the connected experiences, and storytelling.

Recruiting new customers and building long-term relationships.

Proposing and organising events to ensure the success of our campaigns and icons.

As a guarantor of the house’s image, you will ensure a perfect presentation at the Point of Sale (merchandising, planograms, assortments).

Building a solid partnership with the business, thanks to excellent relationship skills and very good communication skills.

Your profile:

You speak fluent German and English,

You have at least 3 years of experience as a manager in the luxury goods retail sector,

You are passionate about the customer experience,

Your coaching skills are an advantage to train and develop your team,

Your excellent communication skills enable you to adapt to different target groups,

You have a well-groomed appearance and are a dynamic, pleasant personality with a strong team spirit.

You are flexible and can work according to retail needs (schedules, weekends).
