For the residential centre located in Echichens, we are looking for a

Social Educator at 80% on a permanent contract

whose main mission is to support, within a protection residential centre open 365 days a year, children/young people aged between 6 and 18 years, in accordance with the mandate defined by the user services.

Your mission:

• Provide supportive and reassuring socio-educational accompaniment
• Implement educational projects focused on the skills and needs of the children and adolescents received
• Participate in various networks with partners
• Be an active participant in institutional projects.

Required profiles:

• A diploma as a HES/ES social educator or an equivalent qualification
• Proven experience with children in difficulty
• A naturally supportive attitude attentive to the needs of children including the group
• Proven experience in transdisciplinary collaboration (pedagogical, therapeutic and educational)
• Good communication skills as well as adaptability and flexibility
• Knowledge of the youth protection system would be an asset
• Autonomy, rigour and organisation
• Holder of a driving licence (car).
