About the job

To complement our "Fugu" nursery team in Uster, we are looking for an intern 100% immediately or by arrangement

"Fugu" nurseries are a private company aiming to expand family-supporting childcare at attractive locations. Our nursery in Uster is located in the Giesserei Brunner development, in close proximity to the town hall and the SBB station. The approximately 360 m2 light-flooded premises have been adapted to be child-friendly. Additionally, we have a spacious garden directly in front of the nursery rooms, which can be used by all groups. Our cook provides delicious and healthy meals daily for the children and all staff. The nursery is designed for 4 groups. Opening hours are from 7:00 to 18:15

Working with children is full of life and you will certainly never be bored. As an intern, you will gain your first experiences in the professional world. We accompany you on your path with care and empathy and support you with our expertise. You will learn the basics of childcare and will be allowed to take on more responsibility continuously. It is important to us that your backpack is full of knowledge and experience at the end of the internship year. This way, you will feel ready to start training as a childcare professional.

TASKS

• Assisting in the meaningful and appropriate organisation of everyday life
• Supporting the group leader in managing the children’s group according to the educational principles of the "Fugu" nurseries
• Gaining first professional experiences under guidance
• Co-organising celebrations, festivals and events

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed compulsory schooling
• Joy and interest in working with children and in a team
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Reliable and resilient
• Self-reflection, willingness to develop further
• Good manners
