About the job
Correctional Services and Reintegration
Specialist in Health Management 50%
With around 1,400 employees, Correctional Services and Reintegration (JuWe) is responsible for penal and measure enforcement as well as for the implementation of various types of detention. Our employees from around 40 professions support and promote the reintegration of offenders and are committed effectively and progressively to a safe and just society.
The Human Resources department is part of the executive management. The approximately 25 employees design and are responsible for all personnel management tasks – from recruitment, advice, and development of JuWe employees to personnel law and administrative services, as well as HR controlling and strategic personnel management.
We are looking for a committed individual to start immediately or by arrangement, who thinks about health holistically, develops it strategically, and anchors it sustainably in our organisation. If you are keen not only to manage existing processes but also to actively shape the health sector and further develop it together with HR and management, then we look forward to meeting you.
What awaits you
- Together with the Head of HR Consulting, you will design and further develop our health topics and the associated processes. In doing so, you keep both the organisation's needs and the legal and cantonal framework conditions in view
- You can take responsibility for the strategic development and anchoring of the health sector: from attendance management through health controlling and prevention to the implementation of concrete measures
- You recognise relevant health indicators, can systematically analyse and evaluate them, identify fields of action from them, and derive well-founded strategic measures. You accompany and lead the resulting projects from conception to implementation
- You support the effective integration of health topics into existing HR and leadership processes, are responsible for the health process, and advise your colleagues within HR Consulting as well as other relevant interfaces on professional issues
- You also develop awareness-raising, information, and training offers for employees and managers
What you bring
- You have a bachelor’s degree. Additional training, for example a CAS in Occupational Health Promotion, Occupational Health Management (OHM), Social Insurance, or a comparable field, is an advantage.
- You have sound expertise and practical experience in the field of health and/or absence management and understand how to analyse complex contexts in a structured way and derive actionable solutions
- Experience in an environment with shift work and different employee groups is a great plus for us
- You enjoy working independently, form a well-founded opinion, and can represent it appropriately and convincingly. At the same time, you build sustainable relationships and see yourself as an internal service provider and sparring partner for HR and management
- You approach change with openness and interest. Even with demanding or long-term topics, you stay on track and keep quality and objectives in view. Strategic and networked thinking are as much a part of you as clear, target-group-appropriate communication
What we offer
- You can expect a dynamic working environment with varied tasks – a role close to people that is not only exciting but also meaningful
- You are part of an uncomplicated, humorous, and interdisciplinary HR team that combines expertise and perspectives from various fields
- Your workplace is located directly at Zürich-Altstetten station and is easily accessible by public transport
