Professional Guardian (80%)
The Mandate Centre Uri carries out mandates for child and adult protection on behalf of the Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB). As a professional guardian, you manage your mandates independently in accordance with legal regulations and the directives of the KESB. You care for and advise your clients and represent their interests towards third parties and authorities. The average caseload of guardians with us is within the recommendations of the Conference for Child and Adult Protection (KOKES).
As a complement to our team, we are looking for a committed and motivated professional as a professional guardian.

Tasks
- Supported by modern case management software and a well-coordinated team, you will manage the child and adult protection mandates assigned to you on behalf of the KESB.
- You are responsible to the KESB for the lawful execution of the ordered measures.
- You care for and support your clients and, if necessary, manage their income and assets in a fiduciary capacity in accordance with legal requirements.
- You represent the interests of your clients towards third parties and authorities.
- You periodically report to the KESB on the progress of the measures and, if necessary, apply for their adjustment.
Expectations
- Tertiary degree in social work, law, or equivalent (Bachelor or Master)
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in social counselling and/or mandate management, or willingness to undertake specific further training
- Team-oriented, resilient, and integrous personality with high social competence
- Empathetic and confident handling of people in challenging life situations
- Willingness to take responsibility
- Independent and precise working style
- Administrative flair and good IT skills
- A well-measured sense of humour to consistently manage the demanding daily work with ease in this field
- Category B driving licence
