Enterprise /Domain Architect, Core Banking Systems/ 100%/ ZH
Project Focus: As part of a strategic platform programme, the existing core banking system landscape is being consolidated and future-orientedly realigned. The focus is on developing bank-wide architectural target images, preparing and conducting an RfP, as well as developing a viable target architecture including an implementation roadmap. The goal is a future-proof, integrated core banking platform in line with the IT and corporate strategy. Start 01.01.2027 at 100% for 14 months in Zurich.

Tasks:

• Development of the strategic application architecture for core banking systems and their directly connected applications.
• Development of a bank-wide reference architecture across various business domains.
• Structuring, analysing and critically evaluating business requirements in close coordination with business and IT stakeholders.
• Development of an implementation roadmap including critical path, dependencies and defined exit points.
• Professional support of the core banking transformation throughout all project phases.
• Support in the preparation and execution of the RfP as well as accompanying the vendor selection.
• Evaluation and critical review of solution architectures, offers and costs.
• Ensuring alignment of architectural decisions with the IT and corporate strategy.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience as an Enterprise Architect or Domain Architect in complex IT landscapes, ideally with a focus on core banking systems.
• Sound knowledge in the architecture and transformation of core banking systems, especially in the areas of accounts, securities, payments, billing, settlement and financing.
• Proven experience in core banking transformations with different products and across all project phases.
• Very good knowledge of modern architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Capability Based Modelling as well as common integration patterns.
• Experience in agile project environments, for example with Scrum or SAFe.
• Broad understanding of banking applications, IT solutions and bank-wide reference architectures.
• Ability to communicate complex architectural decisions appropriately to audiences from C-level to implementation teams.
