About the job
The Kantonsschule Zimmerberg in Au ZH was newly opened in August 2020. In its upcoming seventh year of operation, it is expected to have 25 classes with a total of around 600 students. It offers a long and a short gymnasium with five Matura profiles (classical languages, modern languages, mathematical-scientific, economic-legal, as well as philosophical-pedagogical-psychological). In the young, manageable cantonal school, personal contact and the individual are at the center.
For the 2026/27 school year, we are looking for a lecturer for the subject Sports.
Your tasks
The teaching assignment is expected to comprise 6 weekly lessons and will take place in boys' classes. If the collaboration is successful, continued employment in the 2027/28 school year is possible.
Your profile
You have completed studies in sports and movement sciences, hold a teaching diploma for the subject of sports or are in advanced training for it, and have corresponding teaching experience at the gymnasium level. You enjoy working with young people and have pedagogical skills. You are an open, flexible personality interested in contributing to the development of our school and engaging outside of teaching (e.g., sports days, elective courses, ski camps, special weeks).
