Thayngen is a municipality with a rural character. It was certified in 2017 with the UNICEF label "Child-Friendly Municipality." The managed school Thayngen is a progressive and lively school where integrative teaching takes place. At several locations, around 700 motivated children and adolescents learn together with highly committed and experienced teachers. The school Thayngen operates according to the concept "Workplace School," which places great importance on promoting interdisciplinary skills. During the self-learning time integrated into the lessons, students have the opportunity to work on the learning content of various subjects according to their personal learning level or to improve their basic skills in reading, writing, arithmetic, and foreign languages.
For the new school year 2026/27, we are looking for two class teachers for two parallel secondary classes at the Lamm school building. The previous post holders (further training and level change) will remain as subject teachers at our school.
