Would you like to develop digital solutions in a modern and internationally oriented commercial law firm that noticeably improve the daily work of our employees? To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a Software Engineer Business Applications. You will report directly to the Head of IT and work closely with our specialist departments.

If you enjoy the following activities, this position is for you:

• You develop, integrate and operate internal business applications, interfaces and automations.
• You gather requirements from Legal, Assistance and Business Support and translate them into pragmatic, user-friendly solutions.
• Together with our Legal-Tech and IT team, you drive the integration of AI into our applications and processes, actively shaping the digital future of the firm.
• You independently implement small and medium-sized projects, from conception through development to implementation.
• For larger projects, you take on project management and coordinate external development partners.
• Together with IT Operations & Support, you ensure clean releases and a smooth handover to operations.

You bring the following:

• Several years of experience in application development as a Software Engineer or in a comparable role
• Solid programming skills in TypeScript and Python as well as experience with modern web frameworks such as Svelte or React
• Confident handling of REST APIs, authentication, databases and Git
• A degree in computer science (HF, FH or university) or an equivalent background
• Experience in driving IT projects and collaborating with external partners
• Enjoy translating between the specialist department and technology. You work independently, structured and pragmatically
• Very good German and English skills
• Experience with CI/CD, knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Power Platform as well as experience in a law firm environment are advantageous
