The town of Wangen an der Aare, with just under 3000 inhabitants, together with the municipalities of Walliswil bei Niederbipp and Walliswil bei Wangen, operates a well-organized and innovative primary school.
At three locations (Wangen an der Aare, Walliswil bei Wangen, and the district of Wangenried), around 400 students are taught from kindergarten to lower secondary level I.
Our school is led by a supportive, trained school management team. The collaboration among teachers is highly valued by all, and joint planning and lesson development are central to our school culture at all levels.
All classes are supported by IF, DaZ teachers, and school social work.

Tasks
- Class teacher of a 5th/6th multi-grade class with 21 students
- Teaching regular class lessons: German, Math, French, English, NMG, Sports, Art, school offerings
- Collaboration in the grade team, cycle group, entire faculty, and at school events
Requirements
You have a degree as a primary school teacher, are in training for it, or intend to start it, or
Ideally, you bring some teaching experience or have another pedagogical background.
You are interested in the life world of your learners and are willing to contribute through your personal presence to the success of a vigilant and careful class and school culture.
We Offer
Position with 14 - 28 lessons of teaching, plus 5% function as class teacher and optionally responsibility for SMI in Cycle 2.
Class splitting or team application possible.
