The contribution you can make

• Take responsibility for the strategy, profitability and sustainable development of the assigned real estate portfolio and manage the property assets in the long term
• Collaborate on the real estate strategy of the Federal Civil Administration, define the strategic requirements of projects and develop possible sustainable and appropriate solutions
• Plan and manage the credits related to projects of a specific portfolio, evaluate credit applications, ensure financing and initiate strategic projects as well as the maintenance programme
• Provide advice in German and French to departments and offices on strategic matters, assess their needs, conduct negotiations and create decision-making bases for the competent authorities
• Communicate the decisions of the UFCL and ensure their concrete implementation as well as represent the interests of the UFCL strategically with internal and external partners

What distinguishes you

• University education or equivalent higher education, preferably in real estate management, architecture, construction, business administration or a related discipline
• Several years of experience in strategic real estate, portfolio and project management as well as proven experience in managing complex projects and collaborating with various interest groups
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, strong business acumen and the ability to quickly understand connections and design sustainable solutions
• Confident and persuasive attitude, excellent consulting skills as well as the ability to reconcile different interests and confidently support certain decisions even in complex situations
• Excellent knowledge of two official languages; knowledge of the third official language is an advantage

In this role, you will play a central part in the strategic development of a complex real estate portfolio of the Federal Civil Administration. You will thus make an important contribution to the sustainable, needs-oriented and future-focused management of property assets.
