About the job
The Goldau Nature and Animal Park delights around 450,000 visitors annually amidst an impressive rocky landscape and idyllic forests. On 42 hectares, around 100 European wild animal species live. Around 200 employees and many volunteers are passionately committed to nature and species conservation, education and research – driving forward the sustainable goals of the scientifically managed animal park.
Your tasks
- Overall responsibility for finance and accounting for the association & foundation, including financial statements and VAT
- Management of payment transactions and budget process
- Monthly payroll processing including payroll runs and social insurances
- Analysis, planning and business management control (reporting, forecast, medium-term planning)
- Advising management on financial and business management control issues
- Further development of processes, systems and accounting
- Responsibility for IT and digitalisation (including external partners, ensuring support)
Your profile
- Professional certificate in finance and accounting or equivalent qualification; further training in controlling, finance, leadership or digitalisation is an advantage
- Several years of experience in finance and accounting in an SME or comparable environment
- Proven experience in monthly payroll processing including social insurances and withholding tax
- Confident in Swiss GAAP FER 21
- Good understanding of IT infrastructures and system landscapes
- Experience in project management as well as process and organisational development
- High social competence and empathetic leadership personality
