About the job
Company Description
The Réseau de l’Arc is a health organisation firmly rooted in the region with around 1,250 employees, ensuring comprehensive care for approximately 80,000 people. It includes two hospitals in Moutier and Saint-Imier, five Medicentres as well as the Medical Centre Biel (MZB), complemented by an ambulance network, two nursing homes, two radiology institutes, a centre for physical and cognitive therapies, and a home hospital care service.
As the first fully integrated health organisation in Switzerland, the Réseau de l’Arc offers its own health insurance plan within the VIVA project, guaranteeing optimal and coordinated care for the residents of the Jura arc.
The Medical Centre Biel (MZB) is at the heart of this integrated model and brings together an interdisciplinary team of general practitioners, specialists, nursing staff, psychologists, and therapists. It offers a wide range of services – from general medicine and emergency care to specialist consultations, radiology, and laboratory services.
The Medical Centre Biel (MZB) and the VIVA general practice together form an integrated care system that guarantees patients comprehensive and continuous care. While the MZB acts as a regional competence centre offering a broad spectrum of medical services – from primary care to specialised examinations and emergency treatments – the VIVA practice complements this offering with long-term, personal support for the insured of the VIVA health plan.
The close integration of MZB and VIVA practice enables coordinated and patient-centred care: acute complaints can be treated simply and quickly via the MZB walk-in clinic, while chronic and preventive health aspects are comprehensively managed within the general practice care at VIVA. Patients thus benefit from short distances, interdisciplinary collaboration, and sustainable medical support.
