About the job
The Asset Management Association Switzerland (AMAS) represents the Swiss asset management industry. We strengthen Switzerland as a leading asset management location, represent the interests of our members, and communicate the value contribution of the industry.
To strengthen our digital communication, we are looking for a personality as
Junior Content Manager (50%)
immediately or by arrangement
Your Role
You prepare studies, positions, news and events of AMAS for our website and digital channels. In close cooperation with the Senior Communications Manager, you make our topics visible and understandable for different target groups. In this practical role, you can develop and implement your own ideas and formats.
Your Tasks
You create and maintain content for the website, including news, publications, event pages and downloads, and improve their structure and findability. You plan and manage AMAS's social media presence, publish posts and maintain interaction with the community. If necessary, you develop additional channels. You transform studies, position papers, press releases and interviews into short articles, infographics, stories, videos and other digital formats. You develop digital content campaigns on important AMAS topics and effectively use existing content across multiple channels. You coordinate digital communication around events, maintain the event calendar and event tool, and promote events on our channels. You support photo, video and other multimedia productions together with colleagues and external partners.
Your Profile
You have experience in content marketing, digital communication or a comparable editorial role and are confident with CMS and social media platforms. You write and edit convincingly and have a sense for clear language, visual presentation and the needs of different target groups. You bring practical knowledge in image, video or digital content production and are interested in new formats and tools. You work independently, reliably and enjoy working in a team. You take pleasure in turning ideas into finished content. You are interested in financial markets, economics and Swiss politics. Experience in asset management is welcome but not a requirement. You have very good German and English skills; French is an advantage.
What We Offer
A varied role with direct insight into a dynamic industry, short decision-making paths and room for initiative. You work in a small, collegial team closely with the communication, design and events departments.
Workplace and Work Model
Basel or Zurich. The 50 percent workload is spread over the working week, with regular availability each working day in the morning or afternoon.
Application
A prerequisite for application is an existing entitlement to work in Switzerland. We look forward to receiving your complete application. Further information about AMAS can be found at www.am-switzerland.ch
