STRATEGIC PROCUREMENT MANAGER
In this role, the strategic purchaser develops and manages the long-term procurement strategy as well as collaboration with suppliers.These are your tasks
- Creating and implementing product group and supplier strategies
- Worldwide analysis of procurement markets and identification of suppliers
- Active management of risk
- Qualification and evaluation of potential and existing suppliers
- Participation in supplier audits in cooperation with the SQM team
- Ensuring the general contractual basis
- Contact person for new developments
- Identification, implementation and documentation of saving potentials
What you bring with you
- Technical and/or business administration training with corresponding further education in procurement
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably in the field of sheet metal processing and assembly procurement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good negotiation skills as well as technical affinity
- Good communication and presentation skills in an international environment
- Fluent language skills in German and English, both written and spoken
- Experienced handling of SAP ERP system and MS Office
- Willingness to travel internationally for business
