Canton of Schaffhausen, Financial Administration
The Financial Administration is responsible for the central tasks in the financial sector of the canton. Here, the budget and financial plan as well as the state accounts including the annual report are coordinated and prepared. It is responsible for the canton’s accounting with the necessary IT systems. In addition, the Financial Administration manages all investments and debts of the canton and is responsible for central payment transactions and property insurances. Furthermore, the Financial Administration acts as a competence centre for the canton’s internal financial control system (IKS). This broad range of tasks requires intensive collaboration with all departments and enterprises, developing sustainable solutions together and communicating appropriately.

Commercial Internship in Financial Administration (m/f), 80 - 100 %
What to expect- Assistance with processing creditor invoices
- Support in posting business transactions and participation in the annual financial statements
- Recording and maintenance of budget data
- Insight into the management of loss certificates
- Taking on administrative tasks (e.g. scanning of documents, mail processing, document filing)
- Participation in various (digital) projects of the Financial Administration
What you bring
- Commercial basic training (EFZ)
- Interest in finance and accounting
- Careful and reliable working style
- Discretion and sense of responsibility
- Team spirit and independence
- Good MS Office skills. Knowledge of the IT system Infoma New-System is an advantage
